Website information
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the Wild Weird Wonderful Succulents website and any purchase made through it. Please read them before creating an account or placing an order.
1. About us
The website is operated by Wild Weird Wonderful Succulents in Gqeberha, South Africa. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Wild Weird Wonderful Succulents. References to “you” mean the visitor or customer.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using the website or submitting an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited under South African consumer law.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details confidential and notifying us if you believe your account has been used without permission. We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers or the website.
4. Products and living plants
We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Succulents are living products and naturally vary in size, shape, colour, markings and growth habit. Photographs are representative, and appearance may vary because of season, light, water, temperature and screen settings.
5. Prices and availability
Prices are displayed in South African rand and include applicable taxes where stated. Delivery and other applicable costs are shown before checkout. Products remain subject to availability. We may correct a clear pricing or description error before dispatch and will contact you if it affects your order.
6. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not guarantee availability. We may accept, decline or contact you about an order for a reasonable cause. If a paid product is unavailable, we will notify you and arrange an agreed replacement, store credit or refund as required by law.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using a method offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use that method and that the billing information is accurate. Payment processing is handled by the relevant payment service provider and may be subject to that provider’s terms.
8. Delivery
Delivery availability, charges and estimates are shown during checkout or communicated with you. Estimates are not guarantees where delays arise from weather, courier operations, public holidays, incorrect details or circumstances outside our reasonable control. You must provide a complete delivery address and a person able to receive the order.
9. Inspection, returns and refunds
Please inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is missing, incorrect or damaged in transit. Photographs may help us assess the issue.
General return requests should be made within seven days of delivery. Eligibility may depend on the product’s condition, the reason for return and the nature of living plants. Rights and remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable law remain available and take priority over inconsistent terms.
10. Plant care after delivery
Living plants respond quickly to handling and environmental change. Unpack them promptly and follow suitable care guidance. We cannot guarantee future growth where deterioration results from unsuitable light, temperature, soil, watering, pests, neglect or handling after delivery. This does not exclude responsibility for a plant that was defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied when delivered.
11. Promotions
Promotions may have stated dates, product limits, stock limits or minimum values. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash or combined. We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there is an error, misuse or legal requirement.
12. Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or use it unlawfully. The website’s branding, text, photographs, graphics and layout are owned by or licensed to us and may not be commercially reproduced without permission.
13. Third-party services
The website may rely on third-party payment, delivery, social media and other services. We are not responsible for an independent third party’s website or terms, although this does not affect our responsibilities under applicable law for our own sale to you.
14. Website availability and liability
The website may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security or technical reasons. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including fraud, gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights.
15. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by South African law. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern. You may also approach an appropriate consumer protection or dispute-resolution body.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for changes to products, the website, providers or legal obligations. The version applying to an order is the version available when that order is placed, unless law requires otherwise.
